Macpokeronline.com has positioned itself as the leading source of information for online gamblers who use Mac computers. Visitors can access instant play poker rooms and casinos by simply clicking a button in an efficient manner.
Macpokeronline.com was the first online poker site dedicated to Mac users. At the time the site was created, Mac users were unable to play poker for Mac. Research indicated that there were methods that could be implemented to allow Mac users to play poker online so we began reporting these methods on the website.
Macpokeronline.com was originally developed as a simple 10 page website with a single instant play poker room on the homepage. Before we knew it, the site was ranking strongly in MSN and Yahoo! search engines. Google rankings followed shortly thereafter, but dropped off after the “honeymoon period.” We decided to develop a new site with a 3-column design geared toward higher quality content, Imaconlinepoker.com.
Macpokeronline.com sat dormant during the development of this new site, but then something unexpected happened; Macpokeronline.com began to rank strongly in Google. Our focus moved from Imaconlinepoker.com back to Macpokeronline.com and we quickly developed an authority site from it.
Realizing that the content was going to quickly outgrow the design, we redesigned Macpokeronline.com to a 3-column design similar to it’s sister site. The content grew from 50 pages to over 700 pages while the number of advertisers grew from two to over thirty. The real development of the site began here.
During this time, we worked hard on our SEO marketing and gained top positions for competitive two and three tier keywords in Google.
In October of 2008, we redesigned Macpokeronline.com once again. This time, we
began utilizing a content management system that was scalable and allowed us to control the permissions and access of our employees to the site.
