Administrative Assistant / Personal Assistant
I am a young professional that works from home. I am looking for a personal assistant to help me catch up with all the things I no longer have time to keep up with. I am able to provide upwards of 15-20 hours per week spread over 3 or 4 days per week, which we will schedule together each week. There will be more work to do towards the beginning, possibly 40 hours depending on how we arrange things. Payment will be made bi-weekly via check unless discussed otherwise.
You will gain a LOT of experience from me in this job. Think about this as your chance to pick the brain of an extremely intelligent individual for FREE. I am able to charge several hundred dollars per hour of consultation for my knowledge but have chose to take the road less traveled, striving to learn more and more each day and doing what I love. In fact, I perform next to no consultation and simply love to live life and embrace modern technology.
EXPECTATIONS
- *Must Have Experience Using A Mac Computer*
- English as a first language
- Must have valid driver’s license & personal vehicle.
- Be available between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (Your schedule will typically land during afternoon hours)
- Be on time.
- Contact me if it is impossible to show up on time.
- Perform the duties assigned to the best of your ability.
- Inform me immediately of any problems you have with the job.
- Maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
- Give me at least one week notice if you intend to quit.
- Keep confidential my personal concerns, medical needs, beliefs, and information about the employers finances and personal relationships.
- Sign a non-disclosure agreement asserting that you understand and guarantee to keep confidential such information.

- Create and organize to do lists into OmniFocus (easy “Get Things Done” software, requires minor training)
- Packing & Shipping gifts
- Create invoices using Microsoft Office
- General list creation
- Data Entry
- Email Administration / Prioritization
- Fax/Copy (We use eFax, very simple)
- Scheduling/appointment making
- Scanning receipts into Neat Works for Mac
- Misc. paper work

- Grocery Shopping
- Pickup & Deliveries
- Drop off dry cleaning
- Return clothes to retail stores
- Misc. errands around town
- Pick up supplies

- Organize kitchen (refrigerator, pantry, countertops, etc)
- Sweep
- Clean windows
- Vacuum
- Dust
- Wash counters
- Take out trash
- Clean dishes & put them away
- Laundry
- Tidy up / organize

- Walk dog
- Feed & water dog
- List items on Ebay & Craigslist for sale
- Gift wrap
- Mailing bills
- Tag faces in Iphoto
- Order food
- Write thank you cards
- Donation drop off

- Light meal preparation
